I have never had a better dentist. Four years ago when my wife and I moved from Greenwich to West Haven upon retirement, I asked my GP for the best dentist in the New Haven area. He immediately answered Gregory Schmitt. He was absolutely correct. Speaking as a performer on multiple woodwind instruments, I can now say that I am an excellent hands when it comes to treating dental problems. For example, I recently had the misfortune to need two extractions. Dr. Schmitt accomplished this with minimal discomfort along with his usual kindness and gentleness (if that’s a word one can use to describe an extraction). His office staff is also excellent managing to cope with the complexities of various dental plans. I recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Schmitt is fantastic. He is thoroughly committed to providing the best care for his patients, and I recommend him to everyone. In addition to my usual check-ups, Dr. Schmitt did some incredible bonding work on a particularly difficulty space I had. His precision and attention to detail ensured that the work would last a long time and look as natural as possible. I can't recommend him enough.
Have been going there for years. Even after moving 35 minutes away, I refuse to go anywhere else. He and his staff are a step above the rest. They know you by name, they don’t push for unnecessary work and they put your comfort first. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Dr. Schmitt does a great job. Ellen is a fantastic hygienist and pays attention to detail. Of course Pat keeps everyone inline (including the customers ;) Our whole family has been coming for years and our dental health has never been better.
